On the 25th of April, 2015, Gurkha Dining's motherland, Nepal, was struck by a devastating 7.9 magnitude earthquake.  It has affected over 5 million people and has taken over 6 000 lives so far. Many of the survivors have lost families, friends and their homes. They (including those whose homes are still standing) are sleeping on the streets as they are afraid of the on-going aftershocks. Our beautiful Kathmandu Valley - one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites - and other historic and cultural landmarks have also collapsed into rubble.

We are extremely disheartened and saddened that there is not much we can do from thousands of miles away however through local Nepali charity (Shanti Nepali Samaaj, charity reg: 1158203) that have already started aid work in affected hard-to-get-to rural areas such as Gorkha and Sindhupalchowk, we are hoping to be able to help even by a little by fundraising in our restaurant.

We are offering an all-you-can-eat buffet day/night on the 10th of May, 2015 (Sunday) in exchange for your generous donations. We are giving 100% of what you pay for your meal to the cause. Please note that we will be accepting cash only.

We recommend you book a table within the following times:

2:00 - 4:00 PM or 4:00 - 6:00 PM or 6:00 - 8:00 PM or 8:00 - 10:00 PM

so that we can cater to you accordingly. Walk-ins are most welcome, however, spaces are subjected to limited availability.

You can book by either calling us on 01625 348522, or book online here

We look forward to coming together as a community and putting in a collaborative effort to help those in need.

A heartfelt thank you and namaste.
